Taste the Mediterranean 2022 International Festival: Celebrating 10 Years<\/h3>\nTaste the Mediterranean 2022 International Festival: Celebrating 10 Years<\/h3>\nThis is the year of the 10th anniversary edition of the Taste the Mediterranean (TTM) Festival, which will be held in Split from 4 to 9 October 2022. It is a major anniversary, also marking the 10th anniversary of the Mediterranean diet’s inclusion on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage. Alongside Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Morocco and Cyprus, Croatia and its Mediterranean cuisine were also added to this prestigious list. From the very beginning, the TTM Festival has sought to present, promote and preserve Mediterranean food, gastronomy and local products, as well as Mediterranean cultural heritage and the Mediterranean way of life. It brings together the best foreign and Croatian chefs, all of them awarded Michelin stars, Gault & Millau toques and other important accolades. Alongside the chefs, the Festival is attended by food producers, winemakers and other experts in the fields of gastronomy, sustainable tourism, agriculture and fisheries, as well as journalists and food lovers.<\/p>\n
In addition to professional workshops, lectures and panels, the program includes educational masterclasses by world culinary stars, as well as Mediterranean four-hands dinners in the best Split restaurants (prepared by guest chefs alongside their hosts). Exchanging experiences, education and networking are the main goals of the Festival. In less than ten years, TTM has become a must-attend gourmet event in this part of the Mediterranean. Good food, good wine, good fun is the Festival’s motto.<\/p>\n
