The traditional event “Secondary Schools Day of the Split-Dalmatia County” was held in front of the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) building in Split on 12 May 2019.
This year too it was clear that the event was a great success, as numerous future secondary-school students had the chance to look over the offerings of the secondary schools and learn first-hand from teachers and students about their programmes and activities.
By taking part in the event, our school promoted enrolment in the in-demand tourism and hospitality occupations of Chef, Pastry Chef, Waiter and Tourism and Hotel Management Specialist.
The Wallner School, in cooperation with hotel chains, offers high-quality education for top-level staff in elite tourism, with the possibility of employment after completing secondary school.
For 5 years now we have also been taking part in the Erasmus+ programme, which aims to improve the quality of vocational education and training across Europe and gives students in vocational education programmes the opportunity to develop their skills abroad. The entire programme is fully co-financed by EU programme funds.
