Taste the Mediterranean 2024

The most significant Mediterranean festival in the region will be held this year from 23 to 27 October 2024.

A premium gastronomy event that offers even the most demanding lovers of the food & wine scene a unique gourmet experience, it will be dedicated to authentic Dalmatian flavors and the culture of living. It will present the marenda as a traditional local custom and the history of the konoba as a place to dine.

An international gathering of world-class and domestic top chefs (Michelin, Gault&Millau, 50 Best), restaurateurs, hoteliers, experts in the fields of tourism and gastronomy, as well as small food producers, winemakers and olive growers, TTM will also present the cuisines of other Mediterranean countries, with the preparation of fish and seafood in the spotlight. Alongside Dalmatian cuisine, the Festival will thus feature Italian, French, Greek, Spanish and Moroccan cuisine, so that visitors can get to know flavors from various parts of the Mediterranean and see the similarities, but also the richness of diversity.

As before, the chefs who are guests of the Taste the Mediterranean Festival will hold culinary masterclasses for students of Split’s hospitality schools and for local chefs, and numerous Split restaurants will join the Festival with offerings of Mediterranean menus at affordable prices.
