The first day of spring was marked for us by our guest Igor Leben, human resources manager at the Hotel Le Meridien Lav Split.
As part of the subject Organisation of Business Operations in Hospitality, taught to us by teacher Anita Perkov Kalebota, the concept of management and its five functions is covered. This was precisely the reason to invite a guest expert from that field, so that we could best connect practice and theory.
We all gladly took part in the discussion, asking numerous questions that would resolve many of our uncertainties. We believe that a better understanding of human resources management will help us in our future employment.
