Our chefs from class 2.a, together with Marina Marović, teacher of occupational technology, and Goran Batarelo, cooking teacher, visited the Petason meat processing factory. Petason is a family-owned company located in Vranjic in Solin. The company’s core activity is the production, processing, packaging and distribution of fresh and frozen meat.
An extremely kind and knowledgeable food technologist took us through the factory and introduced us to the way it works, its production facilities, its products and, of course, the hard-working employees without whom any production would be impossible. In modern facilities that follow world standards, the highest-quality raw materials available on the market are processed.
We are extremely grateful to the owner, Mrs Sonja Plazonić, who, by collaborating with our school for many years now, helps students refine their practical knowledge through visits to the factory while at the same time encouraging individuals’ interest in the technological production process.
