On 1 February 2019, the Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and the Pension System and the Croatian Employment Service, organised Tourism Job Days for the third year in a row, which our final-year students of class 4b attended, accompanied by teachers Anja Posavec, Renata Pavić and Anita Perkov Kalebota.
As part of the event, a workshop by the Ministry of Tourism was organised – “Regional Centres of Competence and Strengthening the Attractiveness of Vocational Education and Training in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector” – at which students had the opportunity to hear the experiences of experts in tourism and hospitality and to get to know all the challenges that such work brings.
We believe this was an excellent opportunity for our students to learn about the range of jobs available in tourism, and that our students will be the future experts who will be guest lecturers at workshops like this and similar ones.
