Regional GASTRO 2015 competition
The Regional GASTRO 2015 competition was held on 5 and 6 March 2015 at the „Valamar Lacroma“ hotel, organised by the Tourism and Hospitality School of Dubrovnik.
Around 120 students from Dalmatian secondary schools took part in the competition, competing in the disciplines of preparing hot and cold dishes, service, preparing bar mixes, reception, travel agency and destination presentation. Our school was represented by the hard-working students of class 3.a, Josip Vrsalović – Menu preparation and Dragutin Mandić – Cold savoury exhibit, and from class 4.b, Mateo Bradičić – Menu service.
We can proudly say that Josip Vrsalović won 2nd place in the Menu Preparation discipline and earned a trip to the national competition with his mentor Goran Batarelo. Congratulations!!!
