From 7 to 10 October, Split was the gastronomic centre of the Mediterranean – the seventh edition of the international gastronomic festival Taste the Mediterranean was successfully held. The festival, which celebrates gastronomy, Mediterranean food, cultural heritage and way of life, gathered, in the flower of the Mediterranean and alongside numerous lecturers, panellists and food enthusiasts from all over the world, top chefs crowned with Michelin stars and Gault&Millau toques.
For two days we enjoyed the bravura of our guests, top female and male chefs who held masterclasses for professional chefs and for the students of our school.
On behalf of the entire school and its delighted students, a big Thank You to: French chef Flora Mikula from the Auberge Flora restaurant, Paris; Spanish chef Maria José San Roman from the Monastrell restaurant, Alicante; Mexican chef Beatriz Gonzales from the Neva Cuisine and Coretta restaurants, Paris; pastry chef Keiko Nagae from Japan; chef from Benin Georgiane Viou, who is opening a new restaurant in Marseille; chef Vesna Miletić from the Tač restaurant, Zagreb; the youngest Croatian chef Monika Ninčević, from the N.20 restaurant at the ACI marina Piškera; chef Ippei Uemura from the Tabi restaurant, Marseille; chef Fabricio Vežnaver from the Pergola restaurant, Zambratija (Istria); and chef Hrvoje Zirojević from the Laganini restaurant, Palmižana.
