Dear students and dear parents,
in addition to acquiring theoretical knowledge, it is equally important to us that our students gain practical skills in hospitality during their education. Our goal is for every child, after completing secondary education at our school, to be the perfect candidate for a job at the best hospitality establishments. Acquiring theoretical knowledge and hospitality skills can be of great help in this.
On 31 January 2020, students of classes 2.b and 3.b (programme: tourism and hotel management specialist) had the opportunity to take part in a workshop organised as part of the “Tourism Jobs Days” event, where they could hear how to find employment and build a career in tourism. The students asked questions and took part in the discussion, which made their teachers Gabrijela Terze and Anita Perkov Kalebota, who accompanied them, proud. After the workshop, the students visited the fair, where they saw a number of stands of renowned hospitality companies.
We are pleased that some students decided to apply for seasonal work. We wish them lots of luck in gaining practical experience by working at one of these companies, and we guarantee their future employers that they will not go wrong by choosing our students. See how it went in our gallery!
